No contest wasn't meant to be taken literally (It's no contest in my opinion) besides I'm ok with Pokemon winning.

Isn't pokemon winning your poll lol?

I have loved Pokemon for all the time it has existed so that is my first choice. Something you had to understand about Fire Emblem; its one of the hardest games out there nevermind just among RPGs. It was never intended to super popular just to be a hardcore rpg where every decision matters because once a character dies they never come back. Its what Mass Effect pretends to be.

Well, I went with Persona 4 but...
I have never played a Fire Emblem game, or Pokemon. The only reason i played P4G was because I was after a new Vita game, so went on metacritic and saw it listed as highest rated on Vita. Even then it took a fair bit of umming and arring before I brought it, but havent looked back since, loved it so much I brought the films on BluRay

Pokemon wins out for me but only because of the metagame and the 100s of hours of OCD fulfilment that it brings to the table over the other 2 games.
I actually got both and i have bought them all. I havent finished awakening so it could change, though its unlikely cause i absolutely loved Persona 4 golden. So:
1. Persona 4 Golden
2. Fire emblem awakening
3. Pokemon X/Y
The reason why pokemon is the last from the excellence team is because while the game did a good job bringing the series to 3D, the story definitly took a step back from Black/White 2, aswell as lack of endgame content. It failed to upstage Black/White 2 for me.
