Forums - Sony - Time has Passed, What are Sony's 20 PS4 Exclusives?

As far as I know, Shu said, that PS3/Vita ports doesn't count. So that means Flow, Flower, Sound Shapes, Escape Plan and the rumored port of Journey doesn't count. DC Universe Online and Planetside 2 is Sony Online Entertainment games so those are not published by Worldwide Studios. Which leaves us a list of 14 titles released or announced, 5 old and 9 new IP. That means we are looking for 3 new and 3 old IPs to be announced. I have an excel for this which goes like this:

1st Party Studios
Killzone: Shadow Fall Guerrilla Games 2013. Q4 Old IP
Knack Japan Studio 2013. Q4 New IP
The Playroom Japan Studio 2013. Q4 New IP
DriveClub Evolution Studios 2014. Q1 New IP
Infamous: Second Son Sucker Punch 2014. Q1 Old IP
MLB '14: The Show SCE San Diego 2014. Q1 Old IP
Uncharted Naugthy Dog 2014. Q4 Old IP

2nd Party Studios -Published by Sony-

Rime Tequila Works 2014 New IP
Helldivers Arrowhead Studios 2014 New IP
Shadow of the Beast Heavy Spectrum 2014 Old IP
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture The Chinese Room 2014 New IP

Around the Network

My idea of the 1st year of PS4 looks like this (excluding launch):

2014
January: none
February: DriveClub
March: Infamous: Second Son; MLB 14: The Show
April: Hohokum  --- Deep Down ---
May: none --- Destiny ---
June: none --- The Last of Us Goty PS4 Edition ---
July: none
August: Rime; Shadow of the Beast; Helldivers
September: The Order: 1886; Everybody Gone to the Rapture
October: Demon's Souls 2; Sports Champions PS4; Until Dawn
November: Uncharted; Edith Finch
December: Media Molecule's new game

Yeah I guess it's pretty bleak from April to July, that why i feel they will push Destiny, and there is a rumored TLOU PS4 port. Deep Down beta coming with the japanese launch, which means it's probably a March/April title, that's why I've put to April.

Of course it's not a Nintendo console (no offense) so early 2014 3rd party games such as Watch Dogs, The Crew, Wolfenstein, Mad Max, Evil Within, Thief and Destiny will cover this period.

OP:

You forgot the following games:

-Deep Down
-Shadow of the Beast
-Planetside 2

Deep Down isn't first party, but it is exclusive.
Shadow of the Beast is an old IP owned by Sony.
Planetside 2 is on PC but they probably consider it exclusive.

Deep Down is published by Capcom and not by Sony Worldwide Studios hence doesn't qualify. Yoshida was clear about that.
Shadow of the Beast absolutly counts.
Planetside 2 is published by Sony Online Entertainment, which is a different entity within Sony, usually publishing PC and PS3 games. It's a bit of a grey zone, but it's a port, and Yoshida said ports do not count.
