Just for clarification

Ok and where is this "Mostly PSN" you were talking about?

Games on psn underlined

18 games out of 32
18 > 32*.51

Your specific quote was "there are more PSN developers on there than xbla developers" While you backspace and cross out games.

No, no, you're right. The game Capy is known for is Critter Crunch, an award winning psn exclusive. However, they did make might and magic for psn and xbla, and super TIME force for xbla.

I'm sorry I crossed out and backspaced out that several one game without explaining why. But hey, that reminded me that Capy brings the total to 19

Hang on.. what's wrong with the line you quoted? Is it wrong? 18 devs on there...scratch that.. 19 devs on there programmed for psn. 17 did for xbla. Perhaps my math is wrong?

Fine, you're right, Sony has 2 more devs on that list than MS does.

The urge to go for the TKO is really hard to resist, but I will.

Glad this conversation has come to mutual understanding.

Didn't Half-Brick make fruit ninja for xbla? And if you're going to include vita does windows phone count?

Sure, you want to include android then?

haha. Why wouldn't I include vita. It's playstation, and can be played on ps4.

I love playing mobile games on my $500 console...

I see many Radeon 7970 / GTX 680 users playing small indie games in their pc. Is it wrong? Or are you trolling?

Good for them. It's not trolling to disagree with them anymore than it is trolling to agree with them.

If I say a game sucks, I think it sucks. I'm not saying it to incite anger anymore than you're praising it to incite joy. It's simply your opinion you shared.

This really isn't a difficult concept to grasp. I guess when you're emotionally charged by perceived negativity your reasoning abilities are diminished.

well I personally think you have absolutely no clue of what you are talking about.... you mix up indie game with low quality games....

indie just don't have big publisher breathing down their necks.... but there are plenty of indie games that outshine regular games...

but yeah if you have no interest, I can see why one could have a missguided feeling towards them.... just don't try to state an opinion when you have no clue of what you are talking about....

Another prime example of a user thinking his or her opinion is more valid than someone else's opinion.

Do you understand that opinions aren't facts? Do you? Seriously, do you?

This wasn't a comment about the entirety of Indie games, it was about a 2D fighting game that could easily run on mobile devices instead of on a console "from the future."

I can't respect anyone who can't understand the distinction here.

I agree but you stated it as fact that indie games are basically 2d fighter that can be played on smartphone (even though I have never seen a good 2d fighter playable on a phone)
just that opinion has nothing to do with actual quality and or/validity of the said opinion as a fact.... fact is that some of those indie are vastly superior to smartphone games and even not possible to be run on said smartphone and some of them are of better quality than retail game.... those are not opinion they are facts....

just in the survival horror genre it's been a while that the indie community is completely dominating the genre over retail pseudo AAA games with black mirror saga, darkness within saga or dark fall.... platformers also have been way better on the indie side than what came out since Kameo and maybe rayman.... with baired, Dust:elysian tale, fez, bastion etc
even hack'n slash dungeon crawlers with crimson alliance, torchlight,
etc etc
especially at the price they usually cost they are way worth it over some of the 60 bucks retail games... even on a 400/500 console.... on the contrary they are really good alternatives if you don't have or don't want to spend to much money on games in between major releases....

oh and btw my phone costs more than a console when it released so even then I don't see the point....

Exactly, I'd rather play mobile games on my $500 console than on my $600 phone lol
