Another prime example of a user thinking his or her opinion is more valid than someone else's opinion. Do you understand that opinions aren't facts? Do you? Seriously, do you? This wasn't a comment about the entirety of Indie games, it was about a 2D fighting game that could easily run on mobile devices instead of on a console "from the future." I can't respect anyone who can't understand the distinction here. |
I agree but you stated it as fact that indie games are basically 2d fighter that can be played on smartphone (even though I have never seen a good 2d fighter playable on a phone)
just that opinion has nothing to do with actual quality and or/validity of the said opinion as a fact.... fact is that some of those indie are vastly superior to smartphone games and even not possible to be run on said smartphone and some of them are of better quality than retail game.... those are not opinion they are facts....
just in the survival horror genre it's been a while that the indie community is completely dominating the genre over retail pseudo AAA games with black mirror saga, darkness within saga or dark fall.... platformers also have been way better on the indie side than what came out since Kameo and maybe rayman.... with baired, Dust:elysian tale, fez, bastion etc
even hack'n slash dungeon crawlers with crimson alliance, torchlight,
etc etc
especially at the price they usually cost they are way worth it over some of the 60 bucks retail games... even on a 400/500 console.... on the contrary they are really good alternatives if you don't have or don't want to spend to much money on games in between major releases....
