I believe the frame rate issues for cod were fixed.  I dont own it so i dont know, maybe someone else can give more clear information.   and existing relations is a valid reason but not everyone is into online, and not everyone has those existing relations or care about them enough.    And although there hasnt really been a system seller yet, when the majority of games are performing better on the PS4 it is likely that when a system seller does come, it will have a better resolution on PS4.

Any way, it´s realy funny that from the dozen of release games only 3 show any resolution advantage. And is that only resolution, every thing else is identical.

The difference is easy to see but as to which one is better I still couldn't tell. The PS4 one seems too light and the boat seems blurry, the leaves in the tree look better though. There isn't one of the two that makes me go "Wow, this is much better" or "Damn, this looks bad".

Never downplayed the higher res of PC, many simply dont have the money, and MANY games dont even come on to PC...You are seeing things that dont exist. Also PC has nothing to do with the topic. Kept up the damage control. Everyone knows PC has the best visuals... But PC is a niche gaming platform, people who want the best and dont mind M/K, or the Pc maintenance, then yes PC is the way too go. Unless you like sports games, Console exclusives...Not many exclusives oN pc, but many games dont come to PC.

50% more resolution?? Yeah that's significant. Resolution is one of the single biggest performance hogs and difference in IQ in any game. Play any pc game change resolution from 720P and 1080p....big difference. 1080p usually requires a beefier GPU. 50% more pixels is a tiny performancer difference.......if you don't understand technology maybe. It's big. 50% more detail is not tiny lol.

As games get more demanding the difference will be more pronounced. A bigger better gpu, and on top of that better ram bandwidth, is not going to ever go away. IF all x1 games end up 1080p, then they will look worse ala forza. It's not a big deal the agmes will still be fun, so not sure why there is so much massive denial in the face of facts.

I can't afford a 4K projector yet, however 1080p still looks damn good on my projector. It's nice to have the convenience of consoles + the resolution to go with a 92" screen without it looking like a blurry mess. It saves me dragging the pc between the desk and game room.
Enjoying AC4 on ps4 atm, tradeable physical copy, not a worthless digital version.
