oh yeah I know but the command screen is rarely up when I have to go to the next episode :)

I was just pointing out that the kinect 1 sensor is more precise than people make it out to be when it is working..... can't wait for kinect 2 pesonally

Not to be pedantic, but...

Kinect 1 = Kinect for Xbox 360.

Kinect 2 = Kinect for Xbox One.

Are you talking about Kinect on the Xbox One or Xbox 360?

Weird, when i typed it it had multiple paragraphs...

It is near the end of the end....

Love macs, my computer read the wall of text to me.

Likes gaming

half and half with kinnect

bad voice recognition but perfect face recogntion

overall like a ps4 but not worth the extra cash is the summary.

well I'll have to be my own judge of that as I have heard kinnect works really well for some.

Couldnt bother to read.

1. I have one and know its already great.

2. CHances are this is a Sony fanboy post. No idea, but everyting in MS section lately is.

3. Who cares. We have it now. And trading my PS3 and 360 was the best decision.

1. I also agree that the XB1 is Good/Great, to a point. 2. Couldn't be further from the truth... 3. Agree again, wouldn't matter what I said if you already have it.

It is near the end of the end....

no problem... I was talking about kinect on 360... making a comparaison with the new one by extrapolating that since the first kinect can work quiet great in extreme siuations already, the new one should be just as much capable if not more... my 360 kinect in my current set up  works brilliantly... I can even whisper from 12 feet away at night when I have the headset watching netflix and it picks it up.... I can speak almost normally from 20 feet away not centered with the sensor with the fan on turn towards me when I smoke at the window and it works... I can speak fast and it works...

of course the more I push the context to the extreme the more accurate I must be in my ennonciation of the command... but once you are use to it, it is quiet versatile already with the first kinect sensor...

Have you watched the free Xbox Speech tutor? I strongly recommend it. I'm still learning. I still have some learning to do. I'm really good with the old 360 system, and it's a little different on the Xbox One.

Also, as people said, make sure you calibrate it. It's really important. The 360 version I did a few times under different situations (large windows open/closed, etc.)

You have to say things as it expects them: "Xbox got Forza 5" If you say, 'Xbox, um what did I want to play, um, yea Forza 5" it's going to ignore you. It's "Xbox Goto (full name of app)."

If other people are talking, yes the speech can be effected. Surprise you are having issues with 'Xbox On.' It's works for me, and even turns on my TV and A/V Receiver. Try a little pause between the two words.

I can even say during a movie or game - "Xbox, volume down." and it adjust my receiver. It's great, as my old trusty Harmony Remote is starting to wear out. Plus I have fussy, fussy neighbors that freak out if they hear anything.

Good luck.

PS Just order a cable box (for free) so I can use some of the TV features.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I have watched the Tutor, but did not "calibrate" it.  I will look into that again tonight, as I have now bypassed it for my wife.  I told her about the tutorial and calibration and she wants to get it to work too(luckily).

As far  as the Xbox On, it all works fine if I power the controller on.  It's only the voice at this point.
