As I've said before,I'll probably get a ps4 around the middle of next year. I plan on keeping my ps3 until then. I just have gtav and the last of us at the moment. I was thinking about getting the new ratchet and clank game and dead island: riptide,to hold me over,until then. I still don't know yet. I'm the type that does'nt buy a whole bunch of games,because I just don't have time 2 play them all. I spend most of my time working overnights,then sleeping most of the day. So,gettting a couple of $30 games would easily hold me over,until the middle of next year. So,is anybody else in the same situation? Are those 2 game worth the price? Are there any other cheap ps3 games you could suggest? I'm all about shooters and open world games. I'm just curious,that's all.

There's a lot of games I want to buy for my PS3, like the Final Fantasy X HD remake, Gran Turismo 6, Kingdom Hearts 2.5, and more!

I know that I will be buying more games for PS3 than PS4 for (maybe?) one or two years and, when PS4 get a robust library, I will be changing sides slowly. It happened to me with my PS1 to PS2, PS2 to PS3 and now PS3 to PS4.

To be honest, I'm incredibly happy with my new PS4. I have 5 games for it and it's incredible but, this weekend, I played more PS3 than PS4 (due to the fact that I want to beat the secret bosses in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix).

How about the Fallout series or Borderlands series? Both excellent and pretty cheap now (Borderlands 2 is going to be free on PSPlus soon)

I have about ten PS3 and 360 gamez left to buy. Beyond, GTA V, Dead Space 3, Final Fantasy XIII- 3, Fable Anniversary, WWE 2K14, and a few more. I'm good for now.

Amazon has Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus for $15 shipped when you spend $35 or more if you are in the US. It's temporarily out of stock but you can order it and it will ship once they get more.

I haven't bought any lately because I have a 5 or 6 game backlog and got a PS4 opening day.  Some that I would recommend:

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - best competitive MP of the gen, and pleanty of people still play it. I will keep my PS3 because of it. It is waaay more fun than 3 or 4 and prob like 5 bucks.

Dead Island Riptide was pretty cool but this game destroys it completely ---> Borderlands 2 - amazing shooter, best game of 2012.

Tomb Raider - amazing 3rd person shooter, one of the best game of 2013.

Castlevania Lords of Shadow - GREAT action adventure game that has a sequel coming out for PS3 in 2014.  Takes at least 20 hours to beat and never gets boring.  There is a new 15 dollar 3DS remake of Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate on PSN that is excellent too.  Prob takes 7 hours or so but it is really fun and worth multiple playthroughs.

Max Payne 3 - underrated action game.

I have only played it for PS4 but Assassin's Creed 4 is AMAZING.  I am sure it is fun on PS3 also.

Just bought Tales of Xillia the other day.

Yeap... I will hold both consoles until I played more PS3 games.

well Persona 5 is a long ways away and thats a PS3 exclusive, theres no way Im missing that one. Plenty of other JRPGs I will be buying for PS3 next year too. GT6 this week =D and plenty of games I missed this gen. Not sure I need a PS4 for a long time
