Wow, even on a small sample, nice to see RPGs and racers can be stronger than FPS' on some platforms, RPGs actually are on most platforms. Really unexpected a 3rd party RPG beating both a Mario platformer and Mario Kart on Wii U. Again, a small and biased sample as we are, but it could still be a good omen for 3rd parties on Wii U.

Monolith Software is owned by Nintendo. At least they are a second party as Namco still holds a very small % of shares, but "X" is a first party game, not a third one.

Ooops! So 3rd parties are still d0m3d on Ninty home consoles!    Oh well, at least the positive bit about genres is still valid...

Seems like I have very niche taste in games. I'm the only one to vote Drakengard 3. I hope it gets more votes closer to release.

Everyone else here clearly has a very Japanese taste in games. Lots of Japanese WiiU games, plus Final Fantasy. InFamous is the only big non-Japanese game. I hope WiiU sales jump with all the great stuff coming in 2014, I honestly think WiiU has the best line-up coming out.

for 3DS, I wonder what big title Nintendo will release for fall 2014. I hope Nintendo publishes Dragon Quest VII for Square Enix, it's the only Dragon Quest game which I don't own. I'm not too interested in Smash Bros/Yoshi's Island for 3DS. After playing Yoshi's Story, I just much prefer it without baby Mario on my dinosaurs back, so I might like Yarn Yoshi.

---

I use these threads to see what good games are coming out in the future (I have very Japanese tastes too), and from what I see, 2014 looks to be boring (except for WiiU oddly). That's fine though, gives me time to catch up, I just bought my 3DS after all, and I have so many PS1 games to beat.

Next month I expect Persona 5 for PS3 to chart fairly high. GREAT WORK SALNAX

Zelda U get 4 voters. I'm one of them. And is not even announced.
The king is back.

Is it technically? Nintendo did specifically announce that they were developing one. I mean to be fair this is the same as the Smash Bros announcement in 2011 where they mentioned they were working on Smash Bros, with no official information, but still.

Zelda got a tech demo to showcase what we might see...
