Forums - Microsoft - XBox One review from a Hardcore Sony fan

I went with NFS for PS4, in the end it came down to the fact I have brought 2 games for the XBox and only, well sort of none, for the PS4 as I brought the Action bundle which is why I got Killzone and BF4. It should come tomorrow, so looking forward to seeing it.

Plan to get Ryse at some point though :)

Good review! It's a good system no doubt. I'm interested in seeing how it evolves.

Now for more important matters .... I challenge you to a duel, good sir. #TheKingOfIronFist.

Which Tekken do you play? im a little out of practise, been playing Tekken Revolution last, but had to move PS3 to make room for the PS4. Send me a friend request, Brutalyst, King of King! :P

I'm not a fan of racing games so I'd go with Ryse definitely... though I did hear the campaign was fairly short perhaps the online could make up for it. And as far as racing games though I'd wait until you can at least compare the reviews of NFS vs Forza since Forza may be the better game being an exclusive. Or perhaps wait for driveclub if that's your thing.

I will permaban myself if the game releases in 2014.

in reference to KH3 release date

That was a fair review, nicely done. Looking at the two consoles, those are basically my thoughts, as well. It's only the games that will come in the future that will really differentiate them, relative to personal preference.

NFS and Forza are not the same game IMO... forza horizon is more a match to NFS... it's like comparing NBA jam with NBA 2k....
Forza is comparable with grandturismo... I don't know about driveclub yet... but I don't expect that game to come close to forza or GT when it comes to sim gameplay... that's my take on it I might be wrong though....

Nice objective review. As for costing more, apparently if you bought the day one edition you can sell the box for $400 on ebay (LOL) and the cost is just $100. ;)

Good review and while I understand that you liked the XMB, I really don't see how you can't say that the PS4 interface is a huge improvement! Lord, I LOVE the PS3(Level 22 trophies--99% of them on PS3 with the other 1% on Vita) but the wading through the XMB was a real slog. It was so sluggish and you have to wait for the icons to appear most of the time. The PS4 is extremely snappy. The only issue I have is that while they took a definite step forward in terms of interface speed, they took definite steps back in function. For example, we can't sort our trophies anymore! Why?? I used to sort by most recently earned. When a trophy popped, I could hit the PS button and go over to trophies and the one I just earned would be at the top. Not with PS4, you have to remember the name of the trophy you just earned and scroll through the list to find it. That doesn't make sense. I wonder how long this will take to patch....

I think (as I hinted towards in the review) the problem was 'just knowing' where to find something on a fundamental level.

The PS3 was my first 7th gen console, and from using it I always knew where to find what I wanted. The same with my brother who used XB360 first, and going from one to another made life difficult

Actually, what put my off Ryse (to the extent I got NFS instead) was a few people and reviews said it got repetetive, and thats something I would notice and would bug me (if thats the case)

Well I'm not good at all. xD But I tend to rise to the occassion, so if you're good then I'll keep improving. I'll send you an add later. I lent my friend Tekken 6 and Takken Tag 2, but I have rev on the PS3, so that should suffice.
