More than a year ago, lots of people said the Wii U will fail but nintendo fans believe it wouldn't.
Six monthes ago the same people people said it was failing and Nintendo fans were still delusionned.
Today people are still stating that the Wii U is failing but Nintendo fans continue to be delusionned.

As one of those people who has been forecasting the the Will U WILL FAIL as a console, I just want to make the regular reality shake about the situation now that the actual new-gen consoles have been release:

1. The Wii U has been release a full year ago and has sold about 4 millions console. Both PS4 and Xbox One sold more than a quarter of that just in a day....

2. The Wii U is selling a third less than PS3 and Xbox 360 which are last-gen consoles, and is selling half less than the PS VITA which was already considered a failure.

3. The Wii U already costs 200€ but is not selling any better...

4. No new major third party game has been announced since Bayonetta 2 or Monolith X.

5. But I'm wasting time stating the obvious, the real reasons of the failure can't be changed by games: the graphics. Amongst all the reason why the Wii U is failing, this is the most and main important one. The console is barely as powerful as 6 years old console, in a time of crisis were people demand to be entertained, escape and are waiting for next-gen graphics. And this can't be changed.

NOW, what I want to insist on is ALL these delusionned people who kept on insisting and defending with null arguments, the console: you are partly responsible for the failure of the Wii U because Nintendo listened to U.

it isnt selling less than half the PS vita. it just sold half its numbers last week. which had a bump in Japan because a game (if i remember correctly) and PS vita tv launching in japan. so it had VTV numbers lumped in with the normal vita numbers. also those europe vita numbers look really fishy to me, they seem way over tracked

Edit : and no major third party game was announced for it? what about CoG ghosts and AC4? watch dogs? it isnt get all third party support but its not getting none at all. also X is a first party game

Again I insist: I could have stated after observation of how it is doing the first months, if the Wii U was going to fail more or less.

But in this case, and like many people, I thought BEFORE its launch that it would fail because the initial concept, hardware, positioning of the console were already huge mistakes...

AND this could've been changed by the reaction of gamers, especially fans, if they had made the right critics. Instead they're going to be responsible for the inaction if not stubbornness of Nintendo in the wrong direction.

im not agruing that, but your OP has some flawed information.

I think you will find that this sites nintendo fanbase accounts for roughly 0.000000000001% of actual wii u owners, and are probably the only people actually bothered by the figures. Most casual owners dont care for numbers and you know, actually play games. I am baffled by the way this site has been going recently. People seem more interested in talking about doomed consoles than the actual games. And as a side note graphics never have, and never will determine how well a system will sell. That is a fact.
