1) After E3 2012, you claimed that the only real system seller Nintendo showed for the Wii U was Pikmin 3. Disgraceful behavior.

2) When it became apparent that the Wii U was treading water in early 2013, your shameful excuses were that 2D Mario is not a system seller, despite NSMBU boasting an attach rate of over 50% and continuing to do so. Instead of accepting that there is something wrong with the console itself, you tried to push the blame on the one thing that kept it alive. It was disgusting.

So now is the time to say it with me: "The Wii U is a piece of trash. NSMBU didn't fail, it's that the system itself is so ill-conceived that it has no long term future, regardless of what games Nintendo releases for it."

Accept the reality. NSMBU is a great game and so is SM3DW. However, that doesn't change what the Wii U is.

This is aggressive trolling, but I guess since you have a high post count and are from Austria (put another shrimp on the barby, bloke) it's all good.

And no, I won't apologize for deriding NSMBU...

I genuinely believe the only NSMB game that's worse is NSLU...

They're both completely forgettable...

Hmmm, perhaps Nintendo should actively embrace that as their advertising slogan:

"WiiU - the most fun you'll have with a piece of trash... since that ex-girlfriend you now hate."

Being a piece of trash s relative to the owner and personally i'm enjoying it way more than the Wii and it also does a better job at entertaining my younger cousins when they visit so no WiiU is NOT a piece of trash but i do agree on the fact that NSMBU didn't fail
Let's wait for NA and Europe numbers then judge the effect of 3D World no system fails simply because it lost momentum, as long as it's a good system and is getting good games it will last
while you do play the role of the lone wolf pretty well for the most part this thread is a COMPLETE JOKE as it has almost no proof that 3DWorld failed outside of the retail numbers for 3D World in Japan but it could have beaten 64DS with didgital sales so the game's future looks OK
As far as having a smaller opening than NSMBU that was a given the best selling Mario 2D Game crossed 6.5 million in Japan while the best selling 3D Mario still didn't hit the 2M mark
Pikmin 3 did its role as a real system seller taking the WiiU slightly out of a huge slump in sales which is a very hard thing to do
3D World needs a 250K opening in NA and it will be close to 3D Land which needed 6 Weeks to reach 1 Millon



bet with ash3336 he wins if Super Mario 3D World sells less than Mario Sunshine during the first three years, I win if 3D World outsells Sunshine's first 3 years. Loser get sig controlled for 3 months (punishment might change)

So basically this op wants nintendo to find a new market like the wii, every generation. he think nintendo can come with something different every generation like the wii sports and wii mote that will capture a new audience, and it has to be cheap, yet even he has no idea what nintendo can really come up with, honestly there better off going third party cause i don't think they come with anything like that again.

I think the new consoles will experience the same problems WiiU is having right now, maybe just not so harsh. Don´t expect any of them to sell as good as their predecessors, even with the amazing PS4 launch sales.

WiiU struggle may be a hint of what the future has for the market.....


lol every generation console sales have only gone up, i don't see how its a fading trade, people just want a new powerful console its been 8 years already.
