Just go away if you're going to be a douche, man. It's not clever and no one cares.

lol damn, you crushed my dream of being a salesman :P lol just kidding haha
I would say that now is probably the time to buy a Wii U if you're remotely interested in Nintendo games; price has come down, good games are starting to come out, and by the time you've finished wonderful 101 (everyone needs to play this game), wind waker, Mario 3d world and pikmin 3 then next years games will be starting to hit.
Personally I'm unsure about whether I'm going to go for PS4 or X1 for my multiplat console... Had a 360 last time round and loved it, but I don't Microsoft not to reinstate THOSE policies. But on the other hand, I REALLY dislike Sony controllers.
Neither has any exclusives that I care about. I don't have Sky, so the TV on the X1 is irrelevant. I'm not too fussed about the price difference.
Think I'm just going to wait until a game comes out that either myself or my girlfriend HAS to play (Mass Effect/Dragonage/Fallout) that isn't on the Wii U and pick then. Hopefully I'll have been able to try the PS4 out by then and judge whether or not it's so bad as to make me sell out my privacy!

No, seriously, it is a kids toy, Todd Howard from Bethedsa (who makes blockbusters every year) said the same thing a couple of years ago. that's why the Gamecube sold little too, because of no online server, little third party support and only first party games that in fact attracts the younger most, the Wii U basically have the same problems. I'm an adult and Nintendo games doesn't appeal/interest me, in fact many other adults have that feeling too. If Nintendo doesn't get their act together they are gonna end up like Sega, because they are losing money the same way Sega did with the Dreamcast.
Really, Nintendo needs to put more focus on having their specs on par with Sony and Microsoft. They don’t need to have all the same bells and whistles like plugging into live TV or even having Netflix, but they need to be capable of playing the same games that are on that latest consoles by Sony and Microsoft so they can get multiplatform/blockbuster games, and they need the simple, straightforward multiplayer functionality for people to play games together. I'd say fire Reggie, go third party or make a real next gen console with a real controller for people who actually have 2 eyes. Nintendo are making it harder and challenging for the developers to make games to a console where the demography is vastly different to the others with a console where you need 4 eyes to play a game and which is challenging to make games to that's why many developers and publishers are avoiding it.
I'd say it really depends on whether you can quickly purchase these consoles in short order if you want them all. If it's going to take you a long time to buy all three then I would recommend just looking at the upcoming games and see what tickles your fancy or look back to the previous generation to get an idea of what to expect even though it won't be 100% accurate. Do you like what you see of Mario Kart 8 and X? What about Titanfall and Fable Legends? Perhaps Infamous: Second Son and The Order: 1886? I'd say it all depends on what longterm titles cater more to your tastes.
If you can buy them all quickly but just want to buy the one that gives you the most value for money spent, I'd say buy a Wii U right now. Neither the PS4 nor the X1 will have a software lineup that makes the money spent worth it until about a year from now. There will no doubt be great games and I'm sure plenty of people would argue that one game in particular is worth hundreds of dollars. Realistically though you want the console that has the most quality titles to offer as soon as possible and since the Wii U has already been out for a year I'd say you have better options with it.
Super Mario 3D World, the Wind Waker HD remake, Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros U. All of those being among the highest scoring exclusives thus far. Not to mention some good third-party titles like Rayman Legends, Monster Hunter 3, and Injustice. You will simply have better options for the immediate future going with the Wii U. However, by this time next year both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be loaded with games while the Wii U appears to have a very limited amount of new games coming.
PS4 and Wii U this March. I don't need 3 since my PS3 will have a lot of life in it and I also have Vita and 3ds to deal with.
Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
For me it is only one option... PS4 Saturday.
Pros
Xone: nothing
PS4: nothing
WiiU: it's made by Nintendo
Cons
Xone: made by Microsoft
PS4: made by Sony
WiiU: nothing
All in all, I honestly find boring the three consoles. Xone and PS4 are just sequels of their predecessors in the same vein of COD annual iterations, and Wii U, well, what should I say that haven't said before.
Zero hype in my part for this gen.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Mmhmm... 'first party outdated franchises' that are consistently some of the highest rated games of any generation.
And just in case you fell on your head at some point: ALL GAME CONSOLES ARE TOYS.

Bulltshit, I didn't say anything like that, what I said is that Wii U is generally a kids toy, much more than Xbox and PS, don't try to deny that and just because they are high rated doesn't mean people wanna play them. Wii U is crap.
