sales in japan have dropped dramatically the past few weeks and is being outsold by the psp. 4 in 5 people don't own a ds in japan which means it only has a 20% saturation rate. In the Us vgchart graphs show that even the Ps2 has outsold the DS at this point of it's lifetime. However sales in Europe remain very strong. Do you think the DS is a fad in Japan and NA considering the above? Europe is excluded given the DS's success there.

I cant see how 20% of the entire population is a fad...has the DS reached its peak? Perhaps.
