Please tell me you at least played the PS3 version so you can change the voice to JP and not suffer the voice from that shitty little girl.

I think that goes along with freshness too, since a few of them were new ips or had drastically different gameplay (like Disgaea and GTA 3 respectively). Persona 5 will feel like Disgaea 3 vs Disgaea 2 imo. I guess that is why I like new ips usually, just a fresh idea, and I get a little sad when those cool ideas fail to sell well.
Star Ocean 1 and 2 were amazing, its sad that the series really fell off. They all have a "Shamalan Twist" of some kind which is at the root of their problems but the gameplay is usually really nice. I remember adoring SO3:Till the End of Time until the "4D" thing............uhg.
Claude Kenny and Rena Lanford FTW!!!!! :D

Yes, I played the PS3 version. After a while I switched the voices of course, it was unbearable...

Well that's also true. Let's just hope Persona 5 doesn't suffer from the same lack of freshness. There is always a way to revitalize a franchise! Super Mario did it with the Galaxy games!

Yeah that plot twist sucked balls! It was a fun game though, the combat felt a lot better than SO4.
Yep Claud and Rena for the win! Their game was so much better... The sad thing is that we may never see another game in the franchise.

Well many might not want to hear it again, but its the truth.......putting the game timed exclusive to a console that was never really known for JRPGs was total suicide. Taking whatever scraps of money MS thru them to get it could not have been worth the series becoming completely forgotten about. Even tho the story is crap, they could have made profit if they had not stifled its own chances of selling. I was so excited when this game was announced, then come to find out it was 360 only. I was not about to buy another console, sure I like the series but not that much. So it went forgotten. Even after it released on PS3, still haven't bought it. I will snag it one day when its bottom of the barrel price.

Played it on the PS3 twice and liked it. It gets a 7,5 out of 10 from me.
