Er. I shall repeat my comment from the locked thread:

Now that Windows 8 response is really, really interesting. I remember a guy saying exactly that long before launch, which drew a lot of fire, but now it's coming from a source that's irrefutable.

Very interesting.

Add the fact the Xbone works with three layers of Windows 8 OS and you have the trouble that MS and devs are having with it.

You are again comparing the heavy desktop os with the xbone-version? really? She is definitely referring to Windows 8 on desktop, not the win8-kernel on xbone.

Tell you that because she never worked in engines for Desktops... only consoles... she is referring to Windows 8 on Xbone.

And no, she didn't - she was asked about Windows 8 and said PS4 has less overhead and allows coding "to the metal" which is also true for Xbone.
