Make sure to come back later with your impressions!

I already played quite a bit. And first I want the get the only bad thing I found out of the way...why the hell do I still need to update my console after it has been 1 year on the market? The update didn't took that long (considering my crappy internet speed), but is still annoying that I have to do it.

With that out of the way, I really really like the console. The Gamepad so far has been amazing, I have used it before, but not for a long period of time, and I have played Zelda for like 2 hours straight or so and I still don't have a problem with it. The screen looks beautiful, and luckily it reaches almost all of my house, so this is something I will probably use a lot.

Going to give more detail later.

Again Congrats, it is the best choice of the three next gen systems (Wiiu,ps4, xbone)

Pretty sure a new update just came out a few days ago. Your console would have been made before this.

I'm not sure because when I first wanted to make a Nintendo Network ID, there was a notification saying that I couldn't do it until I download and install the update, so I assumed it was one of the first Wii U updates, plus it took quite a while (like a hour and a half with the download plus the install).

Yeah, you should realise that there are regular updates. One was issued just a few days ago. So it couldn't have been pre-installed into your system. ^_-

Yeah I didn't thought about that. But when I couldn't made a Nintendo Network ID before the update I assumed it was one of the first ones.

But whatever back to Zelda

Exactly!  You have an awesome new console and you're sitting here debating an update that you've already completed!  Anyway, congrats on your purchase.  You'll be hearing from me via Friend Request, buddy.

Great stuff! And you already own 1 of the 10 must-own titles for the Wii U. The other 9 are:

NSMB U
NSL U
ZombiU
Lego City Undercover
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Batman Arkham City
Rayman Legends
The Wonderful 101
Pikmin 3

And I expect to add Super Mario 3D World to that list to make number 11 when it's out!

Welcome, welcome! I think this is a great time to own a WiiU, because of the price and it now has a good variety of games available.

I got a shiny new Zelda 3DS XL bundle on the way – I can’t wait for tit to arrive.

Nintendo Network ID: DaRevren

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.
