Forums - Sony - Imported PS4 (Not by Sony) Already In Brasil From R$ 2.100 (~US$900)

Yeap and some guys here said Sony Brasil didn't lied about the imported taxes lol.

The supplies are abundant... so anybody can buy your PS4 here right now.

The stores are selling the console from R$ 2100 to R$ 3100... way cheaper than the official console imported by Sony Brasil (R$4000).

I will get mine next weekend at Santa Efigênia.

Gray market.. hehehehehe
Well.. that was the expected price.... sort of. It´s pratically the same price of the official Xbox1, but without 1-year warranties and official technical support.....

I´d wait until January because that price will surely drop fast after holidays.

Remember WiiU prices? At first Sta Ifigenia Street importers were selling it by BRL $ 2.000 (Deluxe), in just one month (a week before Christmas) they dropped the price to $ 1500 or even less.

Haha, the worst thing is to see brazilians still supporting ps4 after sony throwing shit to them, showing that doesnt give a fk to brazil.
I wonder what they will do if it happen to get a bricked console with "la garantia soy yo".

Would this be why they haven't bought the official console from Sony Brazil (the one that is screwing us)??

Have you bought any MS product after the RROD? Or any Nintendo after N64 and after lack of third party?

People simply import the console like they did every single generation.

Giving up a PS4 because of its official price in a particular region is beyond silly... If anything, support Sony and boycott Microsoft too because MS tried to pull the biggest scam in the history of videogames (always online, 24hr checkins, no used games etc).

You gotta thank Sony you can sell used games and play offline on the next gen systems now.

Nobody says "La garantia soy yo" in Brazil, that's Spanish. The correct way to say that in Portuguese, Brazil's official language, would be "A garantia sou eu". Anyway, I agree completely with you. And Sony isn't fucking Brazil only with the PS4, I still remember when they officially released PS3, costing R$2000, in 2010 while you could easily buy one from the gray market at R$1200, the PSP, at a whopping R$1300 in 2011 where you could buy one new at R$500 and nevermind the PS2, that costed R$800 officially when it was about $100 in the US and R$400 in other major brazilian stores, complete with warranty.

Well he is right... some brazilian in SP say that for warranty in Santa Efigênia and the like because the products come from Paraguay usually then "La garantia soy Yo".

I've been there quite a few times and I've never heard that, LOL. I've certainly listened to some "Se der algum problema eu garanto", though.

Maybe its more on my region (guarulhos) or my family using, but I have heard it a lot.... but there are some stores there with 3 to 6 months warranty... as long as they don't close some keep their word and do warranty (mainly will try to fix it, never tried a return, even more of a PS4, and mostly of time we can't be sure if its really new).

I don't think i gotta thank sony since they would do the same thing on ps4, but they changed their mind after seeing what happened to xbone.

this gen i'll boicott both sony and ms, now i gotta thank nintendo for letting me sell used games and play offline, not sony.

 last gen i used : wii + x360 + psp + ds. this gen i'll probably use wii u + 3ds + pc.
