Forums - Gaming - Super Mario 3d World Played through a Xbox One

And I thought Nintendo said they wouldn't let there exclusives play on anything but a Nintendo console! XP

But seriously though I don't understand the point of this sense its much worse to play on it. Is it that hard to change the channel from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 or are people doing this just for the giggles.

I don't understand how there could possibly be lag. What is the one doing to the input that is causing it? It should just be running straight through.

I have a pass through on my reciever and there is always going to be lag. Thats why for online i play in my gamer room, Yes i have one.. However thats why on the reciever you have  sync option to match everything up to adjust for lag.

They're just showing that it can be done. Microsoft themselves never said they supported it, according to the video. I guess the Xbox One has so much going on by itself that it can't run the game or even any TV shows 1:1 with the source.

On a different note, I'M gonna be standing in line at the Xbox One launch to buy Super Mario 3D World! Should be fun.

i dont get it, why does running video feeds through the xbox reduce its visual and audio quality, and induce lag? shouldnt it just run straight through?

i never that there was much benefit to this feature anyway, since you can easily press the "source" button to change inputs in less than a second, but the reduction in video, audio, and increase lag kills this feature.
