kotaku's review is very very good and in-depth.

Yup 3 mins in and it looks just as annoying as any voice command thing I've used in the past, this is why they had all those controlled demonstrations.

I wish Polygon was a bit more subtle about the $750k.

Not sure if IGN is 100% with the voice commands.

for one thing he says "xbox, show me my stuff" when MS did their demos they said "xbox, show my stuff". his unfamiliarity mat be causing a good deal of the repeats.

also, his audi connection. not sure if he is using the kinnect mic or the head set to communicate. I think it's obvious his partner's xbox is receiving voice commands better. as the demo guy says "xbox hang up" clearly twice. he is ignored by his xbox. the other guy however hangs up consecutively 2 times with no repeats........

good thing there are multiple reviews to collectively see how this will probably work.

That would be my guess, but not to have it right off the bat is weird

From what I can gather: The promised features are mostly there, but don't work quite as seamless as advertised yet, Kinect still isn't perfect, Ryse was mentioned a few times and impressions are still mixed, some call it boring, some simple but fun, everyone calls it beautiful (one site the most beautiful I think), CVG said nothing on Xbox visually matches Killzone or Resogun, which I found kinda funny, so all in all nothing too unexpected.

All reviews point to this being a console built for the future which is amazing to see! I am so hyped for this console now.

Also the IGN kinect review was a little inaccurate because he was quickly speaking and not waiting for the xbox to kick in.

You have to give it a second to kick in before talking, also those AA batteries getting 20+ hours of gameplay compared to 8 - 10 with PS4.........Looks like the world needs batteries.

Well its not that much of a pause, it actually should just be "Xbox, Play Dead Rising 3" instead of how IGN ignorantly blurts XBOX PLAY DEAD RISING 3. It needs to know that you aren't using it in a conversation and actually talking to it.
