Forums - Microsoft - Rolling Stone Xbox One review

"Microsoft's most impressive exclusive launch titles are Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5 and Dead Rising 3, which all run in 1080p at 60 frames per second."

"Xbox One games now look like high-end PC games"

Both completely false. Also,

"Beyond the games available for PS4's launch – a list which includes heavy-hitters like Battlefiled 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed 4, FIFA 2014 and NBA 2K14"

Not even going to list one PS4 exclusive? Really? This review is written by a fanboy full of false statements. No one is taking this seriously right? Even Xbox fans can't take this review seriously.

 ?

I stopped here... and that's the second Xbone review today... the embargo ends in one hour.

The system has awesome games and the functionality of it is great. Is that a issue that you must downplay in every single thread, everyday. I'm never in a sony thread, Why are you always in here with a axe to grind?

No but as fare as the games. I bet they are great. Rolling Stone and most Media outlets don't do any fact checking anymore. It is pathetic.

That has nothing to do with what he said.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with calling out an article in a professional media publication for not checking their facts.  This is something that actually could influence people.  You can't fault him for this.  Rolling Stone earned its serving of scorn.

Suddenly now all the Xbox One reviews are going to mention PS4 as not being an entertainment hub, while the PS3 was lauded as being overly ambitious in its media capabilities?

*Facepalms reviewers and the world* Will Sony ever win?

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

You would think that all the people with Playstation 4 would be playing them already instead of clicking refresh on a Microsoft specific forum.............

How amped am I for this launch! Great review with a couple of minor flaws (re: resolution) Two reviews for two epic reviews so far...................LOVE IT

Yes but he never seems to call out all the Sony articles that are clearly hog wash. Rather it's the opposite. Point being we would have called it out our selfs. We don't need every other fan coming in here making sure that they are the first to downplay everything. He does this all the time, doesn't matter the article. This is why people get banned, people get sick of it.

It's always the case. "OH that game, it's trash it only runs at blah blah blah. "  We like the system, we get he does not. ENOUGH.

Also, so all the false stories posted by the other fans that made XBox look bad, That's all good? I didn't see as many BLOD articles as one day of a Xbox mistake, wheather the article was false or not. He has never posted a positive xbox one article, always negative. So don't mind me if I don't trust his methods.

Fact is! Reviewer LOVED the XBOX one.........End of discussion

I don't even think the review even mentioned how great the games played.  Yet the review does make very false statements and downplays PS4 by mentioning no PS4 exclusives, while talking up Xbox One exclusives with incorrect statements.  You see this as uninformed media, which may be true, but I see a biased "review".  The problem with that is it gives gamers who don't know any better to make uninformed decisions.  Hearing 1080p is a TV seller.  I would also assume it's a system sellers.  To me this sounds more like an XBox One ad than anything else.
