I've had a few pretty bad frame rate drops in multiplayer. So far I would say that it is worse frame rate wise than the ps3 version, although it is still very smooth most of the time.

Define "pretty bad", like, did the framerate drop for a while, or was it just a momentary thing such as when an explosion went off infront of you and lots of things were happening onscreen? Also, have you played the PS3 version to compare?

No actually the frame rates have seemed pretty random, although drops rarely happen it can be pretty disorienting.  I own it on ps3 and ps4.

could be connection issues?

No, I've only noticed frames dropping maybe 10 times, so it's not like it happens all the time.

Are you a reviewer or something? Why would you have it on two consoles??

Anyways, perhaps it is just your system bcuz all the reviewers are saying that post patch there aren't any frame rate drops.

Perhaps you should try to get an exchange?

Nope, not a reviewer.  Like I said it doesn't drop frequently enough for me to really care, so I would never try to return the game or anything, it still feels good the majority of the time.

There is a day-one patch that fixed these issues.

I didn't mean return the game, I meant return the system. But anyways, if you say it's no big deal, then I guess that's that.

havent played Mp yet but SP does have drops, i havent noticed any that affect gameplay so far its fully playable though i notice drops happening in the cut scene before each chapter starts and when the game saves at checkpoints

1080p baby, can't wait to get ma ps4

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

it does look much much better on ps4 than ps3, i have both cuz i took advantage of the upgrade promo so i can still play with my broke friends lol.

Framerate is overall very smooth. I haven't noticed any in the single player, and only on in multi when a few grenades at one time.

AceRock owns one PS3, one PS Vita, and one PS4.

the game looks so bad, that you wonder how it isn't 1080p and 120fps, on a system 10 x more powerful than ps3.......
