This game weirdly gets me excited for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and honestly kinda makes me hope that Zelda U's reveal is shit and poorly, so that the game itself can be unexpectedly well reviewed.

Aonuma produced two 9+/10 games this year with Wind Waker HD and A Link Between Worlds.
Tokyo EAD did it with Super Mario 3D World, which went from being the biggest disappointment at E3 to GOTY contender.
Retro Studios is set to release Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze in February, and has never released a -9/10 game.

If these seemingly "smaller" game are being and possibly will be so well received, I can not even begin to fathom how mouth-frothingly, mind-knumingly good the next-in-line Skyrim-scale Zelda U, Tokyo EAD made "true" 3D Mario, Retro made Medroid U will be.

...And then there are the games that haven't even been announced yet.
