Also if people haven't noticed, the post in the screen cap is in August, so to me it's believable.

i guess the interns forgot to put the secret sauce in the wii u also?

also what does field of study got to do with assembling electronics? most factory works probably don't even have a higher education hence why they don't protest working for small money.

also if this is true Sony is responsible for it. It is their product, they should make sure conditions are reasonable to ensure their products are made correctly instead of trun a blind eye to save a few dollars.

NO. Foxcon is responsible for it. If it's true. And foxcon will have to pay sony for every damage systems not to mention any thing else that might be in the contract that sony could nail them for.

No Sony is responsible, it is their brand image under risk here not foxcon. If you want to protect your brand image you ensure all your contractors you higher are work for you not against you.

You really don’t understand how manufacturing works. Sony brand name, yes. Foxcon will be held financially responsible.

I do understand how manufacturing works but do you think the general pulic is gonna give a shit about foxconn fucking up? No the damage caused will directly impact Sony. Therefore if you don't want to damage your brand name you ensure everything is fine rather than rely on the manufacturer.

General public will forget about it before it's a real thing. Seems they've already halted production to get to the bottom of this issue. I'm sure Sony suits are all over the factory now. Foxcon will get slammed for this. And if Foxcon don’t like the fine Sony is about to charge them then Sony will take their PS4 somewhere else. And Foxcon wants to build those 80-100 million consoles so Foxcon will comply. There’s nothing the chines government can do. I wouldn’t worry about Sony’s brand name it will be fine.

Yeah, Sony should have shipping information to show which PS4s came from that specific Foxconn. That's probably why they're halting sales at just Amazon and why just about all their customer service calls are coming from Amazon specifically. Amazon probably got the majority of the ones in that Foxconn.

These interns should be lined up and shot

This comment is in extremely bad taste.  While the interns should be punished, it's not totally out of line for people on plant floors in China to be "shot".  No one deserves to loose their life over this.  You might want to rethink your comment.  Very poor choice of words.

Unless Sony already has some PS4 systems being made at other factories, do you really think that Sony can just up and move the manufacturing of the consoles just like that?

While there are some truths to that, I think your underestimating just how powerfull Foxcon is.

It's not about how powerful Foxconn is.  They're a business who made an agreement.  Sony not only has suffered losses from shipping and repair, damaged units, etc, but their reputation is also being damaged as well.  Sony can and will more than likely sue the company and any people who were involved and they'll win.
