Forums - Gaming - Battlefield 4 PS4: Missing the most basic MP function. Squad team before starting a game.

Add your team mates to origin/battelog. Make a group chat.

Make sure your buddies are in your friendlist.

Somebody join a server, join the same server through "join" button next to your friend's name.

The game will auto balance the match to make sure you are all put in the same team and the same squad. :)

It's not just the PS4, it's also for the PS3.

I have no idea why they got rid of this feature. The first thought was maybe something to do with the network being buggy at launch and EA wanting to lighten/lessen the load until people start leaving the game.

I don't think that's the case anymore. So my second idea is maybe EA wanted to make Battlelog more prominent somehow. But I see no reason why they couldn't have just integrated a squad setup within Battlelog.

Guess I was sort of right. No idea why the hell EA wouldn't make it really fucking obvious how it works. I mean, you're not really doing any favors for the system if you're just making people hate it.

There are still chances that if the game fills up quickly, your friends can't get into the game.  This is much more difficult when you have a group of 4 trying to get into the same game.

Killzone has become our multiplayer game of choice because we can't party up

Ewwwwwwwwww.

Or are you talking about Shadow Fall?

Hey come one Killzone 2 and 3 both had great MP modes!

What a poor system... Especially from DICE. It isn't their first rodeo.

KZ2 was OK, but 3 was terrible. Copied Call of Duty and had bottleneck maps.
