Forums - Sony - Man! KZ:SF is a tough cookie!

I have a platinum for KZ2 and KZ3 so I know how to Killzone... But, geez, I'm 2 hours in the new KZ on normal and I'm crawling slowly...  Looks like you have to go stealth and disarm all alarms or you have endless waves of troopers on you...

Yeah I just finished chapter 2 and if I didn't turn off the alarm immediately it was almost certain I would die. But the only Killzone game I've played before Shadowfall was Mercenary so I'm pretty much a Killzone noob.

Cool, i like a good challenge. I gotta wait another 13 days til i get my hands on KZSF though :( ohh and congratz on your KZ2 platinum, im still working on the online ribbons and medals trophies.

I just love how it makes you think for yourself rather then follow some stereotypical soldier into battle telling you what to do all the time. I love the owl, great use of the touch pad.

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

ah i hope its as hard as you say because all the killzone games have been piss easy as the Ai are quite dumb in killzone 2 and 3. Veteran on COD is alot harder then both killzone games. I love a challenge.

It took me a while to get used to how open the levels are. I had just finished playing mercenary a few days ago and although there are many different ways to go through a level, it's still super linear and compact. Shadow Fall feels open world at times. Now that I understand the level structure, it's becoming a lot funner.

Also don't forget to use your owl. I'm also playing on normal and sending it in on attack mode does a great job drawing away their fire.
