Nintendo wouldn't go to PS4.....

.....Their handheld is their strongest money maker, and worst case is that they will stop making home consoles but will FINALLY create a handheld that will be able to hook to your TV (on its own via a dock) and have a strong online function like PS3/360. As well, it will have a separate controller for when you play at home when it's on the dock so you can just chill on your couch and the ability to connect multiple controllers for local coop. Nintendo won't have to waste its time making (almost) the same game for both console and handheld anymore ie NSMB, MK, SSB; and players will finally be able to enjoy a real Pokemon game on the big screen. Nintendo will say f**k the PS4 and their cross play with the Vita when their new handheld will do that shit all-in-one! And fans will be like "Yea Nintendo's innovative and created a way for fans not needing to buy two separate systems to play the same game at home and on the go!". Then Sony will do the same and fans will rage saying Sony copied.......only to realize that Sony did it first with the PSP Go.

Personally I think this is the best, and future, of game consoles. If Nintendo's home console dies then I really hope Nintendo follows the PSP Go as that was/still is the best console ever created. Possibly the PSP Go is still way ahead of its time.

As far as cross overs go, I feel most Sony IPs don't lend themselves to it. Parrapa the Rapper in Rhythm Heaven would be fun, but that's more of a cameo thing. A good portion of the PSASBR cast would add a lot of variety to Smash Bros. as well.

Actually scratch that, the game we are all obviously waiting for is the one where Kratos tortures and kill all of the fun and charming characters from Kid Icarus: Uprising and then gets and arrow threw the head.


Or maybe a Legend of Kratos game. With Zelda showing it's tits.

If those games fail without having to compete against the real deal, imagine how poorly they would do if they had to.

OT: Ignoring the fact that there's zero chance of this happening, it's a matter of games. So well, I guess I'd end up buying a PS4.

I have said for years Nintendo brings nothing to the table core console hardware wise. They could have built motion controllers for Xbox 360 and/or PS3 last generation. They could build there little tablet for Xbox One/PS4. Nintendo is about game software. So just build game software and give up the extra hardware profit and make more software profit.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

The only Sony franchise I really like is God of War. Nintendo doesn't have any hack n slash game...but they kind of have Bayonetta now, so I guess a GoD and Bayonetta crossover would be my choice. 

But if I want something that doesn't make sense then GoD with Yoshi, no idea how that would work but it would be interesting.

How on earth would that work? The Xbox market in Japan in almost non-existant. How is Nintendo supposed to make a profit? Unless Microsoft and Nintendo make a joint system, much to Nintendo's risk, i dont see how that can ever work.
