I love mods. They're half the reason why I'm into PC gaming these days (although I'll never abandon my precious handhelds). Just today I installed a weapons mod for The Sims 3, if only to see if guns really do make any game better.

And don't get me started on how many Minecraft mods I've played. Tekkit, YogBox, Direwolf20 and so many more FeedTheBeast packs... a friend of mine even made a neat private modpack focused on medival fantasy-style gameplay, with an emphasis on forging and spellcasting. And there were some cool bosses via the Twilight Forest mod. There's countless hours of potential content within Minecraft modpacks, and I've completely abondoned vanilla Minecraft a long time ago.

Of course, there's also Garry's Mod. Dozens of different multiplayer games in one, generally based off of Counter-Strike: Source. TTT and DarkRP are very popular modes, but I have a soft spot for JailBreak and its emphasis on psychological warfare. And you don't need to play JailBreak with friends in order to do well.

Anyway, the point of this thread is to talk about mods. Tell me about your favorites. Tell me about your mod stories.

I once got a flat tire on Highway 95 just outside of Florida. Two VGChartz mods pulled up in a 1983 Firebird, changed the tire for me, and then drove off with their bikini girls in the back seat. Great guys. Montana Hatchet and Onyxmeth were their names, I think. Current mods could learn a thing or two from those guys.

Oh, and Trasharmdsister (typing that name caused my spellchecker to explode) is one of the greatest guys I've ever known. Love him to death. No homo. But if he wants to f***, I'd probably let him. Not in a gay way, mind you. Just two guys touching each other's penises and then making sweet love. He's just so nice. An all around good guy!

I'm personally fond of Smeags. He's at least as pervy as I am, because his waifus wear less clothing than mine. Granted, my waifus have terrible taste in clothing (sans cosplay). Perhaps one day we'll write some dirty fanfiction and post it on deviantART, a site well known for its Sonic porn.

Now, Mr. Khan is comparatively quite tasteful. He'd bang an 8/10 chick over a 9/10 chick as long as the 8/10 chick has bigger boingy bits. Even if the 8/10 is a smart-alecky grump, it doesn't matter. Mr. Khan knows what's up. He's got his priorites in order. This order, in fact: chest > face > personality. Whatta guy. Also he likes King of the Hill, so he has great taste in television as well.

That's one of the biggest downfalls to being a console only gamer. I LOVE Super Street Fighter 4 and I watched a lot of videos on youtube where they made custom outfits. Some of them were so awesome--leagues better than what Capcom gave us. In that regard, I'm definitely jealous of you guys.

Looks like there are some Arcade Edition mods, too. I'd like to see some Juri costume choices if you know what I mean.
