Forums - Sony - Badgenome's best game ever just got better

At first I couldn't see it, but the details on the grass are beautiful.

Dat HD remake.

Nope. It's by far my most favorite PS3 game, but it most certainly hasn't improved on PS4.

it looks the same

Where the hell is Badgenome? xD

I can't see video (need directly link) but I'm assuming this is animal-sex related, right?

I like the retro graphics of PS3 version and the more cinematic framerate. ^_^

Going from 30FPS to 60FPS alone is an improvement. Not sure if it was 1080p on PS3.

IGN agrees:

"The PS4 release is the best way to experience this, for sure. Flower’s visuals are noticeably improved by its 1080p resolution and 60 frames per-second performance. Everything runs smoother, and with added physics and particle effects, objects moves in a more convincing, natural way. Best of all, though, is the motion controls: Dual Shock 4 is a huge step ahead of its predecessor. With lighter gestures you can perform more precise movements, making it easier and more enjoyable to turn on a dime and collect more petals."

Best of all? It's free if you bought the PS3 version!

Great news. I already got the psn version and disc collection, can't wait to play it again in 1080p60. Maybe I'll finally be able to get that final trophy with more precise movements.

Oh wait, maybe i'm supposed to say: Meh I can't see any difference on a 360p30 you tube comparison.

"Runs smoother, added phyics, more precise movements, more enjoyable"? Yea, sure... None of this makes any sense to me and sounds like the usual reviewer crap. Why do you think badgenome, I and a few others loved this game so much? It already was a brilliant and unique experience on PS3 in 2009 (and by far better than anything Sony made for their own console imo). It blew me away like only few games before in the last 20 years but it won't blow me away even more on a new console - which I'm not planning to buy anyway. For me the Flower experience can't and doesn't need to be improved and I for one have no interest to play this personal favorite on a different console (unlike Zelda: Wind Waker). The PS4 re-release is good for those who never played it (though I doubt many of those people will buy it now) and a nice, free addition for people who'll get a PS4 and already bought and loved the game on PS3.

But where is badgnome? :(
