I think most XBO members dont expect amazing scores for XBO launch games either as said by seece "XBO members has had it shoved down their throats since day one how horrible the games apparently are"

I 100% agree with this, ever since E3, it's been put down after put down. I'm expecting the worst with Ryse and DR3 (technical problems).

XBO Fans arent allowed to have High Expectations.  Not priveleged enough to be hyped for something.  Even now you can see comments running wild in all threads, "Well XBO itll be the same" lol

Lol, I'd rather have lower expectations for a game, than put it on a pedestal. Once you put something on a pedestal, and it fails, only one way to go and that's down.

pretty weak exclusive launch lineup to begin with and when KZ was announced to be a launch title something was fishy epic games per gen dont really ever release the first year of a console release

GG should just kill off KZ and work on a new IP

Best response.

We should all be disappointed (if these scores are relective of the games' actual quality) because we all want to play the best of the best.

But who knows if these scores will match our own? I love the original Killzone and it's rocking a 70 on Metacritic.

Somewhat disappointed in the scores Knack is getting but I already own it. I still would have purchased it though.
Killzone I will purchase soon. I think a 75 avg score is pretty decent.

Anyways, things can only improve with time. To be expected from launches.

I still don't understand why Killzone would have lower scores than the other shooters. Saying it is generic is pretty hilarious, since it applies to basically every shooter.

Irrelevant! Why would you be disappointed with launch titles? When it's the beginning of a generation, good games are yet to come.
Most people will be playing multi-plats on BOTH consoles, so in the end, who really gives a damn about a score someone else gave a game?

I assume you dont play shooters so this comment is hilarious.  Halo doesnt play like any other FPS.  Battlefield is of its own.  Like it or not CoD is one of the most fluid fast paced shooters.  Even TitanFall looks to be very different.  Killzone 2 by the way was very unique with its heavy mechanics.  Also Unreal Tournament is completely different than any of the ones above and Counterstike as well.

When people refer to generic shooters they are saying it is copying a formula (Most likely the CoD formula) but it doesnt have it doesnt stand out either.

That would be like me saying all Jrpg's are generic.  Some are and some arent but if you dont play the genre then you really shouldnt be talking about it.

Who needs strong 1st party games when you have higher resolution 3rd party games?

None of this is surprising.

ahah this picture is awesome :)

OP: I think it is disapointing but as I'm not really interrested yet in any PS4 games, it does not disapoint me directly.

Yes, but i don't care about those launch titles (except maybe killzone) and same goes for X1 launch titles.
