Absolutely loving DOR at the moment.  Upto C13 in the Campaign and played multiplayer over wifi and I am just loving it.  Anyone else think this is the pinnacle in the series?

I have also played through the 2 GBA Fire Emblems in prep for DOR.  I have never played the Gamecube or Wii versions.  If you love the GBA versions are the cube and wii versions worth the expense?

Is it really that good? I loved the original GBA version and the DS version, I kinda forgot this one released but I think I'm going to pick it up sooner or later.

I'm up to about C19 I believe, and I'm really digging this game, for both the gameplay and the story.

I've only played Advance Wars, and AW: Black Hole Rising. I haven't yet jumped into the DS storm.

Jump in - I travel each day for 2 hours to get to work, and between Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, my train trips take no time whatsoever.

Review I read speak of really difficult levels in the campaign - have you come across any?

Ca15 was tough, I got killed bout 4 times there.
Doing Ca20 now.
It is awesome.

 My friend is having a hard time but I've played plenty of RTS games before so the slowed down pace of regular strategy games gives me a bit more experience.  There have been some points where I had some difficulty, but nothing too hard to handle.

Yeah, C15 caught me surprise.  The main difficulty I had in that part was that the blue guys kept rushing ahead and killing themselves.  I'm half way through C20 right now too.

It actually didn't have too good of a plot and stuff. It was a pretty good game, but I wouldn't say the best of the series.

Dual Strike was a solid game, I need to try this one.

Is it better than Dual Strike? My eye hasn't been on it, but if it's good, it's mine.
