Day 1 update bricking system! Online network not working properly. Bad manafacturing process!

Both Microsoft and Sony are rushing to produce enough units to ship to customer. Launching a new system always come with some hiccups.

Which company do you think will have the worst launch problem? 

I'm most worried about the Xbox One which will rely on the day 1 update to make their console usable. Greater backlash from uninformed customers that don't have a proper internet connection to update their system.

I am taking the optimistic route. I think they will both come out smoothly.

Both have learned a lot from the last launches. I hope both go smoothly!

Hopefully both will launch as smoothly as possible, with no major issues. This is a time to be excited, not quietly dreadful over what may go wrong.

If I had to pick one for each I would choose bad update for ms. and so e hardware issues for Sony

I think the fact that both consoles needs a day 1 update is not a good sign. Nintendo Wii U got lots of criticism for having a day 1 update. Rightfully so!!

You would think that both Sony and Microsoft could of given the retailers a update disc to hand out with the consoles that would bypass the need for going online and speed up the process of the day 1 update.

Both networks will struggle but they will stabilize after a week or less.

Is this just the start of a trend or the exception??
