Polygon doesn't have a very good reputation whichever way you look at it. Gies is a fool and Dent isn't much better. Gies is the guy that kept stating there was a secret sauce in the XboxOne and when he lost a bet for $10 failed to pay up. No offence, you lose a bet you pay up, not disappear into the ether. He is also the guy that apparently passed Sony NDA information to Microsoft.

Anyway, why wouldnt people want to wait for the Digital foundary? Seriously, polygon said.. "in my eyes i dont see a difference from what I can recall"... some are saying, on bigger screens, yes it matters..some are saying there are PS4 performance issues, while others have said very little or none (IGN for example).

Why wouldnt people want to see exactly what level of performance issues and when it happens. That sounds like a sensible plan to me. If the FPS drops for 1 second at a save point, is the *FPS drop* a real issue, if it drops while shooting at 30FPS... thats a problem.

So my dear chap, people saying random stuff online and having differing opinions is not as good or effect as real evidence. Surely you agree that "Real" recorded evidence is better than lots of different people giving their own opinions.

Also I hate to burst your bubble, but most also say BF4 is better on PS4, both from quality and FPS... so you cant have it both ways :)

Actually like the trend we see lately of having all sources praising the Xbox One to have no credibility; there is also this one; things they say are "random"... Thank you, forgot about that one.

As far your resolution/FPS and my bubble; you missed my point : Blurryness... So again, nothing to do with resolution/FPS and I do not see how you can "burst" my bubble when I find one console version to be some kind of blurry and the other not? So you think that by telling me that it will magicaly change my own point of view and the PS4 version will become superior according to my own taste? Dude you are kind of desilusional if you believe so...

Calm down your paranoia my friend I trust DF and always have if they said Xbone version has more solid framerate I will accept it, I won't do a "180" and suddenly said "DF is no longer trustwhorty" I'm not Microsoft.

I see what you did there...

Fair enough then about the DF review; lets just wait and see!

I'm not sure what people are expecting from DF on Call of Duty Ghost. We pretty much already know that the PS4 version will look better but will have an inconsistent frame-rate when compared to the Xbox One version.

Look I dont have a problem with anything saying that the Xbox version looks nice in some static shots, but I have a 46 inch TV, do you think that someone like me wouldnt notice the resolution difference? AA is a massive problem with one version and the other is blury if you look at it in a static image but looks way better in a moving image. Dont know what to say :)

But regardless of that - Neither BF or COD are going to be great examples of best of class for either console. But when one is running 720 and the other is running 1080, please don't suggest that this is nothing.

I thought Polygon was considered a decent source by most after they published this article?

Either way, I'm going to wait until Digital Foundry come out with their analysis since I trust them the most out of anyone. Additionally, it doesn't take a genious to know that both versions of the game are just fine and gamers who buy either version will also be just fine.

 

Also I have to say many of you get way too uppity about stupid things like this. Seriously it doesn't matter as much as you think it matters.

..........It's all about justification for going with the console most of the ones gloating were going to choose before the res issue came up. With the mixed reviews out there this is a waste of time. I guess everybody plays with two screens side by side with 2 consoles and 2 copies f the same game and constantly pause to see if they can spot disparity......

Man I wonder how some of you ever managed with the poor resolution output of the current consoles, it's obviously unbearable to you.

Well, the only thing that could ruin the enjoyment I personally am already having with ghost is if I had to play it with a ps3 controller :P

You believe Battlefield is better on Xbone? Man, life must be tough four you. I hope Microsoft throws some money at you too, otherwise it is not sustainable.
