Naaa I'll wait for Digital Foundry final veredict.

Of course you will; they will certainly say that 1080p with framerate issue is better than 720p and it will fit your agenda! On the bright side; if you take a still frame at 1080p and compare it to 720p; it will (I hope) effectively be better on the PS4 and it looks like this is what matter to the graphic whores out there instead of the actual gameplay...

Looking at the responses in the thread (from a lot of well known very objective users); it looks like any website/source praising the Xbox One has no credibility on this forums lately; I wonder if it has anything to do with the majority of the users being Sony fans

Like BF4 with and the PS4 blurryness; I'm glad the COD version is also superior on Xbox One as it is the console I'll use to play it in 10 days.

what agenda is that?, the ps4 is using 2.5x the rendering power to output 1080p, the developers could have dropped it to 900p easily, there is no agenda, its just were tired of 720 and want nextgen 1080p gaming.

They did such a commendable job with Battlefield 4, didn´t they?

When you have to zoom in at lines at the background of still frames is the only honest way to tell which version is clearly superior, isn´t it?

Wait, but weren't you just telling us not to trust DF?

OT: I can imagine the issues, even the PC version is "eh".

Yes, and that is called IRONY. People weren´t happy with DF battlefield 4 FO. So...

I was making fun of any face-off that try desesperly to find and point out any minor differences. Even if the resolution was supose to be a major impact.

Guess what? It dosen´t.

IGN said the framerate is the same in the comparision video lol

And the graphics are so different in quality.

When comparing the PS4 and Xbox One versions side-by-side, there’s little to no variation in textures and effects, but there is a discernible difference in resolution. While both are displayed at 1080p, the Xbox One version upscales the game from 720p resolution. In contrast, the PS4 version runs natively at 1080p, which makes character models, weapons, and environments look noticeably sharper and more detailed. The difference is especially apparent on larger-sized TVs, where pixel density weighs more heavily in picture quality.

Translation: PS4 version looks much better

fixed for you.

To you, it may not. To many others, the res will make a difference, especially since the contrast between 720p and 1080p is rather large.

Translation: You have to play it very close to a big TV and pay attention to the details.

That's not twhat the quote said at all. It didn't say the difference is "only" noticeable on bigger t.v.'s it said "especially". Meaning there is still adifference on non-giant t.v.'s. And the line right before you bolded: the PS4 version runs natively at 1080p, which makes character models, weapons, and environments look noticeably sharper and more detailed.

He flat out says the difference is noticeable, it's very straight forward.

Well, in theory. It´s supose to be... so, what is wrong with the IGN CoD face-off or DF BF4 face-off??

I just saw the prior, in glorious 1080p, if it wasn´t for the color, couldn´t tell which is which. BF face-off was even harder.

That is not what they said. Just because you bold one part doesn't mean the other parts don't exist. They say there is a perceivable different and that difference is even more noticeable as the screen size gets later. They state that game looks better due to the resolution difference and that it is especially noticeable with a big tv.

This is selective reading at its finest. What do you take us for, fools?

BF is 900p on ps4 and if you watch the 60fps footage from eurogamer its clear 900p looks much better, and as for COD ghosts the differnce will be huge once we get direct feed pics.

Polygon has no credibility, and quite frankly should be BANNED from being mentioned on this forum.

well, so if sony is being praise, they deserver it but if someone praise MS, thn thy are being paid thts why?

that's the sony fans,.. i'm a nintendo guy, so to me  what vesion is better is  idiotic this game looks horrible even on my pc, 1080p has a cost and that cost is the frame rate, personally i prefer constant 60fps  over 1080p, so for me xbox one has a better port.

34 years playing games.

Calm down your paranoia my friend I trust DF and always have if they said Xbone version has more solid framerate I will accept it, I won't do a "180" and suddenly said "DF is no longer trustwhorty" I'm not Microsoft.
