Except that a simple patch will correct CoD's issue (even the PC version has framerate issues, and we know res isn't the issue there). Never mind that Battlefield 4 had no framerate issues on PS4 and Killzone runs at 30-60fps (a full 60 in multi).

It's more a matter of optimization.

Of course its a matter of optimization but all games dont perform the same. Just because one game runs at a steady frame rate does not mean all should run at the same fram rate. How Killzone and Battlefield run is irrelevent. Looking foward to seeing this patch. My pc version runs fine, everybody wont get the same performace in pc games.. Thats the way its always been.

No, how Killzone and BF4 run is relevant, because it puts things in perspective. I.E., not very many games have the issues of CoD, right now (at least not on PS4).

As for your PC version running fine, great, but that has zilch to do with the point. The game is plagued with problems, no matter the platform. Just so happens that in the PS4's case, the framerate issues seem to be an issue of optimization rather than a hardware limitation (and a patch wouldn't be able to fix that if native 1080p was the culprit).

Still dont agree. Just because those run at 1080p 60fps does not mean all games should run the same. You say the PC version has framrate issues and is plagued with problems no matter the platform and I tell you I am playing the PC version with no issues and now you say that has nonthing to do with the point? lol, thats classic.

I didn't say all games should  run the same (in fact, you're missing the point entirely). CoD is the exception on the PS4, not the rule. How many games are not having such issues? Answer: most of them.

Going back to the PC version, again, your PC version isn't having issues. Neither is mine. That still is irrelevant to the many folks that ARE having problems, or are you going to argue that because yours is fine, it must mean the game doesn't have any problems?

Lastly, expalin the "classic", here. Only one of us, thus far, has grasped simple concepts. ;P

Then you need to choose your words more careful.  Saying a game is plagued with problems no matter the platform is saying that this is something major that everybody or mostly everybody is experiencing.  If you would have said some people are having problems with the game then that would be different because with PC games there will always be some people who get performance problems. As for the meaning of the term classic if you are ever undecided always choose the one in the middle.

LOL! Ok Polygon, ok...

No, I think my words were spot on. You just misunderstood the point. No problem. It happens. For CoD PC, there are more people having issues with it than not. The game has been plagued with problems across the board (be it PC/PS4/X1/PS3). Just so happens that, out of the bunch, the X1 currently performs the best, overall. The reviewers and analysts, for the most part, all back this up.

As for "classic", now we know there was no need for you to use the term, since you couldn't even interpret the purpose of its addition to this convo. Cool beans.

Dont know where you getting your numbers from but if you say its a plague then cool beans. Did I say it right?

I wonder if those to whom 720p or 1080p don't matter, do they watch videos on 360p rather than 720p? I bet they can't tell the difference there either.

I have a weak GPU on my pc so I have to always go to Settings first before running a game in order to lower the resolution and the game looks so bad compared to what I see on internet.

No no no......not even close.

I dont know what you have to use but with the 360 tv settings is you cycle through standard def 720 and 1080, the menu looks the same in 720 and 1080, no changes at all, when I sitch to 420 everything gets streached out.

If it's YouTUbe vids, you won't be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p because the latter option isn't true 1080p. That's not indicative of the real res differences at all.

I'm refereing to the xbox 360 display settings, not videos...... I leave it on 1080 for good measure though but I was going back and forth and it both looked the same.

You must not have a very big television, because that is a 50% there.
