What a waste of money. Instead buying a dozen of exclusive content, they should just money hat a game.

Because the Blu-Ray gives developers the chance to include more content on the disc, like it´s the case for Assassin´s creed,
it´s not like Sony paid them to do it (those despicable moneyhats!!!11!!)

the ones I know off the top of my head |
I didn't know that MGSGZ and NBA2k14 were getting exclusive content on the PS4

| enditall727 said: Well MS were getting games and the PS versions were always held hostage until about a year and some games wouldn't receive dlc on the ps4 versions until a specific time had passed so Sony found a different way to fight back and that was to get exclusive content for the PS versions of said games also, what PS4 games are you talking about? |
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag (60 mins extra content)
Watch Dogs (60 mins extra content)
MGS: Ground Zeroes (unconfirmed)
Destiny (DLC, Bundles)
Diablo III: Reaper Of Souls (extra content)
NBA: 2K14 (In-game content)
Elder Scrolls Online (Exclusive Beta)
Those are the ones announced so far I believe. However, there's agreements in place with Atlus, Bluepoint, Disney Interactive, EA, Insomniac Games, Level-5, Nordic Games, Sanzaru Games, Sega, Square Enix, Sumo Digital, Take-Two and Zindagi Games for either exclusives or exclusive content.

lol yeah!
To be serious though it's not out of the question that some these extras we see are due to payments. Although money is not the only reason for exclusive games and content. Sometimes exclusivity is a way of making yourself more attractive to that company, be it Sony or Microsoft. There are a lot of times when companies want extra funding for future projects, they just want to go first party or simply be bought out.
Bigger companies, like Ubisoft, Capcom or Square Enix have other uses for exclusives. Sometimes it's a way of positioning themselves on the platform, as exclusives get more exposure, not only from the developer but also from Sony or Microsoft. Developers can also feel that certain genre fans are more present on one platform compared to the other.
Long story shory, there are many reasons for exclusivity, big or small, and most of them do not involve Sony or Microsoft paying those companies.

We have seen a lot from those devs on ps3 like Alus(3D Dot Game Heroes), Sanzaru(Sly 4), Sega(Yakuza and Valkyria Chronicles), Insomiac and Level-5(Do i really have to say lo)
I hope Disney Interactive and Square Enix is some kind of content for FF15 and KH3 and i hope that Shinmue is brought back by Sega

Not really, games with exclusive content does seem to sway my purchase over the other as I'm sure others as well

I guess it's cheaper to moneyhat exclusive content than exclusive, that's why Microsoft went for some exclusive and sony exclusive content.
