1. Game installs take about 10 seconds to start and play, depending on the game, while the rest of the game downloads in the background.

2. UI is described as "instantaneous"

3. voice commands for the camera will be added in update 1.5, which should be available next wednesday

4. you still cannot change your usernames 

5. you can remotely start up the ps4 to download games, from a phone or a pc configured to do so. this will be available at launch

6. the touch-pad doesn't have a use in the UI

7. the Psn store is similiar to the ps3 store, but snappier 

8. Ps4 boot time is 30 seconds, compared to the 20 second boot on the ps3. a later patch will speed this up

9. on downloaded titles, you can download the multiplayer portion, or the single player portion of a game first.

Sounds good, too bad I still am waiting 1-2 years before I even own one, ps3 will still keep me entertained!

I am positive that most elements with the UI will improve, or just evolve. Console software can be replaced. The hardware cannot.

i agree, there is no reason we shouldn't be able to change our names, hell, i wouldn't mind if they charged us 49 cents for the transaction...                                            

My brother made a dumb psn name back in the day, and for him to change it, he would have to reestart his whole account, and lose all the trophies he built up.       The fact that the touchpad isn't used in the UI is dumb, but not too surprising.

I was really hoping that would change.  Guess I'll just do different impersonations (Bane is the easiest when I talk into an empty cup) on my regular account (can't leave my trophies just for a joke's sake)

If there was no reason for it, they would have allowed us to do it.

Also, there's no cure for stupidity so your brother will have to deal with it.

My brother isn't stupid, he was 13 years old when he made the name, so it's stupid and imature. Also, i do understand why we can't change our username, probably because of the friends-list, and the issues it would cause if you switched your name, but that doesn't mean i have to like it. I think if Sony made an effort, they could figure out a way to do it...
