Yes I get the flag online and take it back to my base , but then what do I do with it to say I have it captured.

 Please can someone let me know

Ehh... well in CTF games in general, you have to take the flag of the enemy and return it your own flag. If your flag is taken, you can't score a point, so your own flag has to be at your base.

Does it work differently in Medal of Honor Heroes 2?

I learn something new everyday. The only time I played CTF, I ran around with the flag not having a clue what to do with it, lol. Thanks for asking, daz, and thanks for the answer, Chrizum.

With the exception of Goldeneye, I think all capture the flag (or bag) games play like this.

Whereas in Goldeneye it was just a run to the flag, then you had to keep it for as long as possible.

@ TWRoO: That was actually Hold the Bag or something similar, it was a different mode. If I recall correctly, you also had a CTF mode in GoldenEye.

^No there wasn't.... in all the games I have played with a capture the flag it has been exactly as you described it. (though some had a capture the bag as well which may have been a little different, or a replacement for CTF)

There was a Hold the Bag or whatever in TS2, where you had to hold it for however long you could.
That was exactly the same as what was called Capture the Flag in Goldeneye... there was no other mode like that in Goldeneye (the modes were a normal deathmatch, a lives match (you only live twice?) the golden gun mode and CTF.
