1. Party Chat is actually party chat. Works across entire system and all apps, 8 people per lobby, but you can make more than one lobby!

2. Broadcasting gameplay has an adorable PlayStation-themed standby screen. Fast and easy. Standby screen is activated on screen whenever you switch from game to PS4 OS. During OS browsing, “On Air” indicator is present on the screen.

3. The PS Home button can be double-tapped to quickly return to the last app in use.

4. "Play as a guest" allows you to sign in and access PSN content anywhere, but keeps your info safe.

5. Trophies from PlayStation 3 and Vita show up alongside PS4; PS4 adds "rarity" metric.

charging my controllers while the system is off is a final-fucking-ly moment.

love that they are adding a rarity metric for trophies. i've enjoyed that a lot on some of the third party sites.

The bad about third-party is that you only knows the rarity between the guys signed to the site (most of them trophy hunters)... now we will now accross all the PSN users.

I can't remember if this feature was ever confirmed or whether it was merely a rumour. Can you charge the DualShock 4 by placing it atop the PS4?

The "On Air" thing for sharing, charging usb devices while off and the rarity trophy metric are all cool little details. Soon we will know everything...
