@Korppi: You got it. My hints are getting too easy it seems.

47. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
DS (2008)
Konami

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia marks Castlevania's final entry into the much beloved (albeit unfortunately niche) Iga-vania/Metroidvania direction of games. Symphony of the Night (PS/Saturn) started it all, and it continued on with Circle of the Moon (GBA), Harmony of Dissonance (GBA), Aria of Sorrow (GBA), Dawn of Sorrow (DS), Portrait of Ruin (DS), and finally Order of Ecclesia. I've been fortunate to play them all, and while SotN remains the favorite of many 'Vania fans, I have to say that Koji Igarashi's final game takes the crown. The game starts out actually taking a page from the earlier, side scrolling action titles of the NES/SNES with its more straightforward and diverse locations, but ends the adventure in a classic labyrinthian setup we've all grown to love. It also marks the first time in the series where the main protagonist is female, and Shanoa has stolen my heart from that day on. What can I say? I appreciate a lady who can take down the undead. So while the Castlevania series has moved on from the vision that many of us loved (and to be honest, I've actually enjoyed the Lords of Shadow games!), I'll still look back fondly at a series that took my imagination far and wide.

What is a man?

*tosses goblet to the floor*

A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk, have at you!

(Yeah, it's not from OoE, but it seemed fitting)

And quintessential picture of Shanoa! (<3)

Your Shanoa image is not showing. It says "Use share link provided instead"

Hint for game #46:

The final game of a genre milked to its death and deemed a fad. I also guess this means that I'm 3 times cooler than TruckoSaurus!

Picked this up recently along with Tekken 4 and SoulCalibur II for PS2. Really looking forward to playing it!

So you run the Zelda thread, have a Link avatar... and got the Link-less version of Soul Calibur II? Or You have the GC version too? And if that's the case....why pick the PS2 version too?

Between those three I'd leave Tekken 4 for later. If you do juggles frequently you'll hate stages with roofs. Plus the attempt to fully implement Soul Calibur's full 3D movement was a failure due to the lack of the guard button.

I have the GCN version. I picked up a PS2 box set at a store and it had SCII in it, but the price was right so I went for it. Tekken Tag Tournament was what I was really after. The other two were bonuses.

Duh. Well, at least now you can do a Digital Versus-esque review of SC II

Rock Band 3?

Somehow the first game I thought of was actually Shinobi II. Even though I have no idea if those games were ever particularly frustrating.

Want to take a stab at mine? *unabashed self-promotion*

Indeed! Quite the easy hint, but I just wanted to mention that I'm cooler than Truck in some way.

I did try but I think I must not have played your game since I'd remember a game about amputees saving innocent lives.
