Yep you got it.

Clue for 23: Trust me don't pick any of those up, keep the spread shot.

22: Most RPG fans favorite of the series and easily one of the best PS1 games.

21: One of the best FPS ever and the one that had commander mode.

23.  One of the Contras.  Either the first or Super C?  Contra 3 all weapons are pretty good, homing is just as good or better then spread except against some bosses.  Crash missiles are ridiculously powerful.

22.  Final Fantasy 7?

23. Yes first Contra

22. Yes

Tomb Raider. Amazing game, its sequel will be incredible.

No!  I left that clue intentionally vague :P

I thought fans quite liked the new Tomb Raider, by the way?  I didn't, personally :(

Hint for number 24.

While it was later on released to atleast five more systems at retail the original game had three different versions.  Not Pokemon like different, but not really minor either either.   Here's another hint.  It's part of a really popular RPG franchise.

Hint for number 23.

This game has a pirate, an Uno ripoff, cameos from another game in the series, and two world maps.

Hint for number 22.

He went to the doctors and now has a G at the end of his name.  A guy who uses an iron pipe like a sword.  This rabbit isn't actually a rabbit.  Coincidentally, there's also a pirate.

Most of the remaining games in my list are RPGs.

No.  Never played it actually.

I will say that most of the remaining games in the list are RPGs.

23. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (last year 36), first impression 8.5, replay 8, technical 9

Pros: Most everything you like about Galaxy comes roaring back in terms of level design, with new additions like Yoshi and the green star hunts keeping things fresh. Luigi is available for use earlier too, making things more dynamic.

Cons: Rosalina was one of the best-conceived original Mario characters in a long time, and they went and replaced her with Lubba. Similarly, the Mario head is inferior to the Observatory.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The title of number 23 will become clear if one looks at the "Dork Age" of Superman in the late 1990s when he was an energy being, and was briefly split into two beings, differentiated by the key words of the title

(I doubt anyone will get this, but hints for this particular franchise are hard to give without giving the game up, so i usually play on the title)
