Moving towards being a multi-media device, would it have made more sense for the Xbox One to support 3D playback out of the box given that more and more newer HDTVs and Blu-Ra

Yup, its a real thing, and no it doesn't have DLNA streaming yet

So is that coming? Seems like a dumb move to remove that.
