Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

I stopped reading at Motley Fool.

Isn't it selling about as well as the GC?

See the funny thing is and No one seems to ever want to mention this with topics like this is... Nintendo still made profit last two quarters even with the failure of the wiiU... They made a Net PROFIT of 88sh million first quarter and around 8 million the second quarter when the wiiU sales were reallyyy low and that isn't counting the Pokemon sales for the 3ds (I believe)

However, Sony made a net LOSS of around 200 million as a company and operating LOSS of their gaming department of around 8 million even with the large success of the ps3... Its interesting how people say Nintendo is doomed even though they are still making money at their worst states...

Sony is going up from year after year from the grave they dug themselves in but they are still not making money... Yet people claim Nintendo is doomed and the wiiU is gonna die even though Nintendo still makes money as a whole... And the wiiU sales is looking to rise up from the disaster of Q2

Yes. Wii U is the new Virtual Boy

Hell no, the Virtual Boy sold around 500k or so, and it was a joke, the WiiU is struggling? yes, but it is an ok console and will do probably ok, Gamecube style, if Nintendo play its cards right.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Nintendo should ditch the Wiiu

release another console with a standard controller and increase specs

Remind us how that strategy worked out for sega...

The 360 was losing 150$ on each 360 sold.
The PS3 was losing 300$ on each PS3 sold.
The Xbox Division has done nothing but lose money since the first and stock holders want the division gone.
The PS3 has effectively destroyed all profits made from the PS1, PS2 and then some, the company is the most likely to drop out at this point do the company being unstable.
If those two can literally continue for god knows why even though they have done nothing but lose money, I am sure Nintendo will be fine.
They've been doing this since 1889, I think they know what they're doing, they turned the 3DS disaster to a money printer, and the Wii U will pull through.

O_O

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Oh yeah forgot Fool.com also said gamers would embrace Xbox One's DRM and other policies. So we can assume they're called 'fool ' for a reason.
