Forums - Sony - Sony VR headset hinted by Trine 2 dev

Our latest episode of SE 500 brings hands-on PS4 gameplay and off-screen footage of PS4 right to your screen, alongside an extended interview with our friends at Frozenbyte, the studio behind Trine 2.

Trine 2: Complete Story is coming to PS4 in the very near future, and our very own Marjaana Roininen talked with Marketing Developer Julius Fondem and Marketing Manager Kai Tuovinen about the challenges and exciting aspects of bringing an indie classic to the next-gen console.

Kai also drops hints of the rumored PS4 virtual reality headset that Sony is developing to compete with Oculus Rift, saying, "Sony has been in the talks of their own VR headset, as well, so I'm expecting that to make a big splash." Is this confirmation that the device exists? We'll let you decide--jump to about the 9:45 mark.

The ending was awkward :D

They better show it quick, depending on how it looks and works I will get or skip the HMZ-T3.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Let's hope they support it better than the Move...

let's see. i think maybe it would be better to cooperate with oculus rift, or even buying them out seems like a better idea than trying to establish proprietary periphery. all periphery i can think of have failed except kinect.

but maybe it's killer!

maybe the naughty gods will bring us a whole new 3d gaming experience...

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

Off the top of my head:
Balance board
Mario Kart Steering Wheel
Zap Gun
Power Scope
Power Pad

More debatable:
Eyetoy
Playstation Eye

I want attachments on my head and various other parts of my body to contribute to a fully interactive and more immersive experience

Cannot want this anymore sooner...
