Personally, I would of put New Franchises in the number two spot and token off "Lower the Price", plus also added in make the Gamepad optional, but other then that....this video was spot on.

Oh and Achievements....meh I personally could care less, but I know that there are people out there that love that kind of stuff so I can understand why they choose to put that in.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Definitely agree with the need to have improved marketing and unified accounts. The idea of rewards for enough trophies is a cool one as well; although achievements have never meant much to me, I could certainly see myself playing more if there was a tangible reward to be gotten in the form of an eShop game.

I don't think a price cut any further is feasible, though. I believe Nintendo was already losing money when the Wii U was being launched, and the price cut now has only made that gap worse. Another $50 cut, while good in theory, would make losses even worse.

I only found myself agreeing with 3 or 4 things in that list. Meh.

Buying SEGA is a lot less feasible (and desirable) now that they own Atlus.

Well... they are good sugestions, but they would also cost half of Nintendo's fortune with little garantee for returns.

I think in special the part where they say to please the third parties cant happen even if nintendo wanted. They are blocked in terms of engine on the Wii U. For any 3rd party pleasing to happen, they would need to either convince Epic to make the new unreal engine compatible with the Wii U, or they would have outright buy Epic to make sure this happens. Again its alot of spending for what is questionable returns.

As for buying SEGA, i think that is the best thing they can do. SEGA has a very diverse portfolio that in the right hands could be a very good value for Nintendo. For example they would have a 3D fighter on Virtua Fighter, a 2D fighter on Guilty gear, they would have a high profile adventure game on Shenmue and Yakuza, they would get Sonic and Sonic racing and could take turns with Mario to avoid IP fatigue. They would have MMO's and hunting games in the form of Phantasy Star, great JRPG on persona and SMT aswell as having a brother strategy rpg series to fire emblem on shining force. SEGA is the answer to the IP fatigue Nintendo is going through.

They would have to sell the pachinko business though... and while at it hire Yuji Naka and prope to work on some of those SEGA games.

unified account and marketing I agree, but the others are not necessary at all. For Gametrailers Wii U is not next gen, reason why they mention it on the intro. I can't take that site not even something seriously.
