Been playing this on PC for a while, a very stylish and engaging combat but it does get very repetitive in the long while. The F2P system with micro transactions and farming centric progression mechanics of the game isn't going to generate mass appeal I'm afraid.

A good game by itself but it lacks a broad appeal, not going to be a blockbuster.

Been playing War Thunder also, this game is going to take the crown from world of tanks when it releases. Its going to be huge, I'm immensely enjoying it myself.

Its still a free title with what looks like solid gameplay. "Repetitive" missions doen't really bother me because it sounds like most MMORPGs really.

So what you're telling me is this is a matrixy cyborg ninja game with no paywalls, and it's free?

I like the kickstarter/founder approach. It seems to have really worked for them. I might actually pay for some stuff just to support them in their endeavor.

This actually looked really, really cool. Will be checking this out alongside Planetside 2 when I get my PS4.

The F2P concept is not all bad. It only sucks when devs milk the holy hell out of you for the tiniest of progressions. Warframe doesn't seem to be like that. I would gladly pay for this game but some might not feel the same way. The game being free allows EVERYONE to download it, as their is no barrier to entry. If they so choose they can enhance their game with microtransactions but is never completely necessary.

If the PS4 sells 6million this year, maybe 5.5million will take the free download. From there maybe 4million spend $10 on MicroTrans. Thats 40million dollars just for now. This is better than selling the game for $60 and maybe 0.3mill buy the game total..
