I'm pretty excited about the upcoming games coming to Japan for the Vita and Ps3 before the end of the year. Hopefully they both pick up sales quite a bit, and encourage some of these games to come out west!!! Vita especially needs all the success it can get (the 2000 is doing great so far).

For big games on Vita we have:

God Eater 2 - Nov 14

Tearaway - Nov 22

Final Fantasy X/X2 HD - December 26

And Ps3:

Final Fantasy 13: Lightning Returns - November 21

Gran Turismo 6 - December 6

Three big games for each console in Japan, all within the next two months! I for one, am very excited. With the Wii U getting a huge bump this week at 38k, and the 3DS continuing it's very strong sales week after week, it's nice to know that there is something sales wise to look forward too with Playstation!!!

Any predictions for hardware/software sales in Japan for these two?? Also, since I don't even live in Japan, for those who do what am I missing??

Lightning Returns was delayed to February 2014. No longer being released this month.

Lightening Returns releases in Feb 2014 in USA/Europe and November in Japan. Japan is what this thread is about.

Lightning Returns is releasing in November, as the OP says.

Vita will rise in Japan for sure this holiday season after disaster japanese year-end sales in 2012.
But PS3 already peaked. Games will sell, but hardware - nothing special. And Lightning Returns gonna bomb hard compared to XIII and even XIII-2.

3DS, PSV and Wii U wil rule this holiday season in Japan. Yes, this year was awful for Wii U, but games and bundles finally here and Nintendo always rising in nov-dec there (you can see the charts from previous years).

p.s. Tearaway is a big game for Japan? lol. Many niche titles like Akiba's Trip 2 alot bigger for japanese audience than this western product. Look at japanese LittleBigPlanet Vita sales....

So why are we talking about games that are releasing in Japan anyways? And wouldn't the op have done a better job at listing more titles? Unless there's a maximum of six titles being released for the remainder of the year in Japan.

Let's talk about Japan getting Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, Need For Speed Rivals, Atelier Rorona remake, etc.

I did make a mistake about posting a release date for the west when it's releasing in Japan, but useless thread is useless. The only reason to post a thread would be to talk about games that are going to be exclusive to Japan, not talk about games we're going to get in the future or games we already have in the west.

Fixed. Even though I agree bundles will help, this is Wii U's first non launch December in Japan. Previous charts from other years on a different gen system are irrevelant. Let's just wait and see what happens on this one.
