So, you're saying that the PS3 will sell 9.933M. Now factor-in the fact that VGChartz is undertracking the PS3 by 68,489 (since more than 80M by Nov 2nd). Using your estimate, that gives us 10.001489M PS3 in 2013.

I live how you wriggle your way out of this though with your 9.0-9.99. "The PS3 sold 9,999,999 - I was right, it did not reach the 10M mark... woo hoo"..

And guess what? The PS3 is still $269. The price hasn't dropped since 2011. Plenty of room to drop the price and plenty of legs left.

PS3 is overtracked on VGChartz by between 50k-800k imo

those numbers are shipped and its holiday now, there has to be hundreds of thousands on store shelves. Retail needs alot of stock this time of year, i think 3DS might be overtracked by around 100k too but i could be wrong with that.

Shipped numbers are the official numbers used. No matter how you can try to justify vgchartz estimates, the final say goes to the manufacturer.

Yes but its not sold no matter wat you say, its shipped! This means Sony will sell 80mil by sometime Between Mid November to Beginning Dec

Its shipped numbers, they haven't sold all 80mil yet, if your excuse is that then why do you look at sales here? they dont have shipped numbers.

Your right i dont kno exactly how much they sold but i do kno its less than 80mil. Every store in the country has ps3 in them meaning its alot less than 80mil (Nov 2nd).

Like i said an estimate of between 79.2mil-79.8mil

Doesn't matter. As far as Sony is concerned, it's 80M sold.
