Forums - Gaming - CoD: Ghosts on Xbox One Has Frame Rate Issues And Is The Main Reason Not To Buy says Ex IGN Editor

that sucks... i know that development wasn't very easy especially for xbox one in the last months or even year but still, i think it is also the fault of infinity ward and not only because of bad drivers and esram problems on xb1 and whatever their problem on ps4 was... (or what they said in the "development nightmare" article)

basically they're both shit and IW is a crap dev? I don't here this crap coming from any other game (on both systems)

Pretty much. Infinity Ward is finally getting nailed for their shoddy work. Sadly, the game will still sell many millions but hopefully this garbage will lead to the series declining. There really is no excuse for a franchise that makes as much money as CoD getting this kind of effort from its developer. The reviews and technical issues are telling. Activision and Infinity Ward were just cashing in on the name. Now more so than ever.

Indeed, Activision have never been known for quality, the mcdonalds of our industry.

Honestly, as a launch game it's not that big of a deal since both consoles are in its infancy. Yes, we can argue all day that development for both consoles will improve, and it's arguable to say that there possibly will be a consistent gap if not greater between the consoles. Facts are facts when it comes to resolutions and framerates, but let not put too much emphasis on ti now until developers have had, let's say, a year to get more experience under their belts.

sounds like the 360 version is the best.

It is near the end of the end....

so they butchered 4 out of 6 versions

Lucky X360 and WiiU owners

360 have framerate issues too.

I don't know about the Wii U version but I guess so.

Wow, I didn´t expected WI to have gone so down hill. I was given then credit because of the small team working on 6 different platforms and probally less than a year with the final XOne hardware.

But, no. When they have to recicle a 4 years cinematics we are free to blame the studio (not the developers, they probably did their best).
