Hey guys.

Something strange happened and still happens so please let me explain.

So its 2013  halloween to be specific. After hanging out with friends and going home.  I somehow really wanted to play a nice game. I went for retro game and chose...

...The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons

So after answering what to play.... the next question was how to play it?

There were several ways to do it.

First I was like "GBA-SP? It's holy and way to precious" = NOPE

Then I was like "GBA? Playing without backlight? Man how did this work back then?"  = NOPE

Then I was  "Oh wait Super Nintendo + Super GameBoy? Oh shit probably won't work since Zelda is Color-only..."

Finally I was like "Hmm what now? Oh wait Zelda works on the Gamecube + GameBoy Player!"

So I started to look for everything that was needed.

Zelda = check
Controller = check
Gamecube = check
power supply = check
GameBoy Player = check
GameBoy Player DVD =check
RGB Scart cable = ?

I thought "Where where is that stupid cable?" I looked around and found some old box with tons of cables and voila a Gamecube RGB cable.

So after everything was found I fired up the System.

I noticed that the consoles time settings were totally messed up, fixed it and started the game.

I never really played Seasons only Ages (bought both at the same time 10+years ago)  so I wondered "Why do I have so many hearts? Nevermind" and deleted the savegame. I played a few minutes and I realized I was playing Ages instead of Seasons... "Wow great I just deleted my savegame T.T"

I was pretty sure I inserted Seasons but there it was on my couch waiting to be played. "Whatever" I thought and turned off the Gamecube. At least thats what I thought.

When I pulled out the game I was like "oh shit why is the Gamecube still turned on?  Didn't I just turn off the console? Hopefully there is no damage to my Zelda game."

Well I pressed the POWER button again just to see that the Gamecube actually turned on and the logo appeared.   I was like "wtf  just happened?!"

I turned it off again but was still greeted by an orange light when I looked at my gamecube.  I pulled the plug and guess what... no change.

Since then my Gamecube "harvests" power from space....
(is this a sign? maybe Nintendo Space World next year?)

or the single RGB cable that runs into it which I guess is the real reason...
....because when pulled, the light goes the way of the third party.

Hmm mysterious....

No but seriously why is this happening?
Thats not exactly healthy for the Gamecube GBPlayer and Zelda right?
