Not sure if anyone else noticed this in the emails being sent out by Sony but it does seem as tho they're now far less commited to the psvita with remote play from the ps4.
http://uk.playstation.com/ps4/features/
but yeah the part that I'm a bit worried about is when it comes to the remote play section of there specifically the point
"gamers will be able to seamlessly play a range of PS4 titles on the beautiful 5-inch display"
A range of ps4 titles... this isn't what was said before where every ps4 title would feature remote play, technically you can say that you can play a range of ps3 titles on the vita too... that range being pixel junk games and Lair.
But yeah sorry if anyone else had already posted this and I just missed it in the flurry of 1080p news but I'm pretty damn annoyed if Sony have taken another step away from fully supporting the Vita in every way they said they would, was going to be a real selling point for me to get a ps4 but now I'm gonna be in the "wait and see how it works" group of people who are gonna sit out the launch day models of the next gen systems and see which is the first to show it's weakness's.

They kinda have to word it that way, you know, since games for ps move / camera wont be playable.

Yeah I really do hope it's just those games with aren't playable. It's just that most media regarding remore play to this point have said that it will support every ps4 title and then following an * from that point it makes it clear that the move games aren't going to work or games where another peripheral was needed to play them. This is just coming from my experiences with the Vita throught remote play with the ps3 not just in the games supported but in terms of the ps1 games on that how you can't use any diagonal input while playing some games, just the Up down left and right. makes tekken and flying games from the psone just not playable.

It was revealed during the official PS4 reveal that the console will support direct Remote Play integration with the PlayStation Vita, allowing gamers to play PlayStation 4 games using their handheld console. This will enable players to pause or quit a game on their TV and start that same game on their Vita without losing any data.
Speaking to IGN, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida stated:
"...the Remote Play side will work. So we’re saying virtually every PS4 game will be playable with PS Vita via Remote Play, so you connect your Vita to your PS4, especially at home, it’s a great experience.”
He was also pressed during the interview to answer whether this feature would be available immediately at the launch of the PS4.
“I will be heartbroken if it doesn’t [work] day one," he said. "So day one, my expectation… we have to have all [PS4] games work on PS Vita, unless it’s a camera-only game.”
